com.cheatkeys.keyboard) and CheatKeys Pro (com.cheatkeys.keyboard.pro). Published by 88khp. Last updated October 20, 2026.1. Introduction & Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how developer 88khp (“we”, “our”, or “us”) handles information in connection with the mobile applications CheatKeys (Free Edition) and CheatKeys Pro (Pro Edition) on Android devices.
We respect your privacy and are committed to creating software that respects user security. CheatKeys functions offline as an Android Input Method Editor (IME) designed exclusively for inputting cheat commands into gaming titles.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
- Keystroke Logs: Unlike cloud-connected keyboards with predictive text, CheatKeys does not log, monitor, or upload any key presses, passwords, credit card numbers, or messages.
- Personal Data: We do not require accounts, logins, email registrations, or user identities within the application.
- Location Data: CheatKeys does not access GPS, network location, or Wi-Fi scanning.
- Audio or Camera: CheatKeys does not request or access microphone or camera permissions.
3. Android System Permissions & Justification
CheatKeys requests only the minimum Android permissions strictly necessary to execute its primary utility:
- android.permission.BIND_INPUT_METHOD
- Required by the Android operating system to operate as a functional keyboard service (
InputMethodService). This enables the app to send simulated keydown/keyup events directly to game canvases without requiring root or custom ROMs. - android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS
- Required on Android 13+ (API level 33+) to display the persistent summon notification in the status bar. Because full-screen games lack text input fields, swiping the notification shade and tapping this notification is the designated mechanism to trigger
requestShowSelf().
4. Advertising & Third-Party SDKs
The privacy practices regarding advertising differ slightly between the Free and Pro editions:
- CheatKeys Free (
com.cheatkeys.keyboard): Includes Google AdMob SDK banners on the main launcher setup screen only. AdMob may process non-personally identifiable advertising identifiers in compliance with Google Play Developer policies. In the EU/UK, consent is requested via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). - Strict In-Keyboard Ad Policy: In strict accordance with Google Play quality guidelines, we NEVER display advertisements inside the keyboard view or over active games in either edition.
- CheatKeys Pro (
com.cheatkeys.keyboard.pro): Contains zero advertising SDKs, zero banners, and zero third-party tracking libraries of any kind.
5. Children's Online Privacy Protection (COPPA & Families Policy)
CheatKeys does not knowingly solicit or collect data from children under the age of 13. The application functions as an offline input tool without social components, accounts, or user-generated content sharing.
6. Data Security
Because CheatKeys does not transmit or store personal data on remote servers, your input data remains entirely within your Android device's secure memory sandbox at all times.
7. Changes to this Policy

8. Website Forms
The beta signup and contact forms on this website are stored in a Google Sheet owned by 88khp. They collect only what you type in: your Google account email (for beta invites), an optional reply email, an optional phone model, and your message. This is used solely to add you as a tester or to answer you, and is never sold or shared. Google hosts this data under the Google Privacy Policy.
